The Pakistani military has claimed it intercepted and shot down 25 Israeli-made Indian kamikaze drones, amid heightened cross-border tensions along the Line of Control (LoC).

Thus, the Indian military launched the Harop drones in a state of “panic” following what Pakistan described as a successful cross-border operation on May 6–7, Caliber.Az reports, citing Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

That operation, according to the ISPR, destroyed five modern aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, multiple Indian posts, and inflicted personnel losses.

“The use of Israeli-manufactured Harop drones is a clear indication of India’s growing frustration,” the statement read.

The ISPR added that the wreckage of the drones was recovered from several areas within Pakistan, and that Indian forces continue to suffer losses due to Pakistan’s “robust defence”.

“Pakistan’s armed forces are responding with decisive force, foiling all hostile designs,” it stated.
