Azerbaijan welcomes Uzbek delegation for media, PR knowledge sharing

The Media Development Agency of the Azerbaijan Republic has announced that a high-level delegation from Uzbekistan visited Azerbaijan on May 7 to exchange experience in public communications and explore effective media and press relations practices.

The delegation, composed of representatives from Uzbekistan’s government bodies overseeing communication efforts, held meetings with several major Azerbaijani institutions, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

These included the Azerbaijani Ministry of Science and Education, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, as well as the State Tax Service, the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control, the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), the State Service on Property Issues, and the State Customs Committee.

Throughout the visit, the Uzbek officials were introduced to the internal structure, strategic communication goals, and media engagement methods employed by their Azerbaijani counterparts. Discussions focused on the operations of press services, mechanisms for public information dissemination, and approaches to building transparency and trust through media relations.
