Azerbaijani consumers reaping rewards of value-added tax refunds

Nearly 94 million manat in Value Added Tax (VAT) was refunded to consumers in Azerbaijan during the first half of the year through the "Return VAT" project. Foreign visitors also received around 5 million manat in tax-free refunds for personal purchases made in the country.
