Azerbaijan's Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources and President of COP29, Mukhtar Babayev, held a bilateral meeting with the President of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser, during the Mission 300 Africa Energy Summit.
The meeting was highlighted on the official X page of COP29, Caliber.Az reports.
The discussion focused on the achievements of COP29, including the Baku Finance Goal, and strategies for achieving the $1.3 trillion climate finance goal.
It is worth noting that Mukhtar Babayev also participated in a panel discussion at the Mission 300 Africa Energy Summit, held in Tanzania.
The discussions centred on elevating Africa's energy agenda, improving energy access for African nations, and addressing regulatory policies.
