SOCAR Türkiye is ready to participate in Syria's energy supply, the CEO of SOCAR Türkiye (representing SOCAR's interests in Türkiye), Elchin Ibadov said during a press conference in Istanbul, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, the establishment of peace and stability in Syria and the region makes everyone happy. With the restoration of peace and stability, economic development will emerge, which in turn will lead to an increase in energy demand.
"As long as there is a demand for this energy, if "SOCAR Türkiye" is given a role in accordance with the common strategic interests of our states - Azerbaijan and Türkiye, from a political point of view, it is of course our duty to fulfill it with pleasure," Elchin Ibadov noted.
