The United States has suspended trade tariffs on more than 75 countries for 90 days.
Axar.az reports that President Donald Trump wrote about this on the "Truth Social" social network.
"Based on the fact that more than 75 countries have called on US representatives to negotiate to resolve the issues discussed regarding trade, trade barriers, tariffs, currency manipulation and non-monetary tariffs, I have authorized a 90-day break and a significant reduction in the 10 percent reciprocal tariff during that period," Trump said.
Trump emphasized that the suspension of tariffs is effective immediately.
Recall that on April 2, US President Donald Trump announced that customs duties would be applied to products from 185 countries and territories.
