Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev has said Elon Musk understood the consequences of providing Ukraine with Starlink's military capabilities from the very beginning, despite his recent admission that the decision was a mistake.
Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that Medvedev argued that attempts to distinguish between Starlink and Starshield did not change the nature of their use, saying that “the blood from their use is the same colour”.
“Yes, Musk saw the light too late and recognised the mistake of handing over Starlink's capabilities for military purposes to Bandera's scum,” Medvedev wrote.
He added that despite his immense wealth, the American businessman remained dependent on decisions made by the White House and what he described as the “deep state”.
According to Medvedev, Musk was now facing intense criticism in the United States and threats of severe repercussions for changing his position on the conflict.
“To understand and repent is always better than to live as Judas until the end,” Medvedev concluded.
