Azerbaijan and Cambodia have completed the second round of negotiations on a draft agreement to avoid double taxation and prevent fiscal evasion regarding income taxes.
Finalizing the draft agreement will create more favorable conditions investments between the two countries and strengthen bilateral cooperation between the tax authorities of both nations.
Officials emphasized that the agreement will play a key role in enhancing information exchange and mutual assistance in collecting tax debts.
Following the discussions, both sides reached a consensus on all tax-related provisions of the draft. The parties agreed to continue joint work to resolve remaining non-tax provisions.
The meeting concluded with the signing of an "Agreed Protocol" to formalize the results of the negotiations.
