Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan held a phone conversation with French Minister Delegate for Europe Benjamin Haddad on June 24, during which the sides discussed investment and trade cooperation.
Haddad congratulated the Armenian official on the parliamentary elections held in Armenia, praising their conduct in line with high democratic standards and congratulating him on the election outcome, Caliber.Az reports per Armenian media.
The two officials discussed joint efforts aimed at further deepening the strategic partnership between Armenia and France, emphasising the importance of consistently implementing the priorities and programs outlined in the Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership signed by the leaders of the two countries.
In this context, they highlighted the need to strengthen business ties between Armenia and France, expand investment cooperation, and increase bilateral trade.
The sides also exchanged views on the Armenia–European Union partnership agenda, discussing steps to broaden Armenia’s access to the European market, as well as initiatives aimed at improving regional connectivity and recent developments related to those efforts.
