A group of world-renowned international travelers has begun a visit to the city of Aghdam.
Axar.az reports that the group, led by Charles Veley, founder of the prestigious MTP (Most Traveled People) club, includes travelers representing 13 countries. They first visited the Aghdam Juma Mosque.
The guests were briefed on the history and condition of the Aghdam Juma Mosque, as well as the city’s situation before and during the occupation.
The travelers will also visit sites showing the destruction caused during the occupation, ongoing reconstruction efforts in Aghdam, and other historical and cultural landmarks.
