Kalashnikov to supply Karakurt drones to India

Russia's Kalashnikov Concern will supply civilian Karakurt quadcopter drones to India under a newly signed contract.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, the agreement was signed with an Indian partner during the India Homeland Security Expo.

Under the deal, the first batch of Karakurt drones will be delivered to the customer by the end of 2026.

Kalashnikov also said negotiations are underway to establish licensed production of the Karakurt drones in India for future local sales.

According to Maxim Karavaev, the company's business development director in India, the drones have attracted significant interest from Indian police units.

He added that the device had been tested in the special military operation zone and had received positive feedback.
