Azerbaijan’s population reaches 10.22 million

In 2024, the population of Azerbaijan increased by 44,119 people, or 0.4%, reaching 10,224,889 as of January 1, 2025, APA reports citing the State Statistical Committee.

It was noted that 54.4% of the population resides in urban areas, while 45.6% live in rural areas. Additionally, 49.8% of the population are men, and 50.2% are women.
