International travellers explore Karabakh, East Zangezur

A new group of 33 international travellers has arrived in Karabakh and East Zangezur, organized by the “Piki Reels” club. The group is led by Yves Bouvy, the head of the club.

Travelers from 12 countries, including the USA, Australia, Belgium, the UK, Israel, Colombia, and the Netherlands, are participating in this three-day visit, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Their itinerary includes stops in Fuzuli, Khojavand, and Shusha, as well as Khojaly and Aghdam. They will head to Lachin and Kalbajar on October 27, and on the final day, they will visit Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan districts.

This trip marks the 12th visit organized by the British “Piki Reels” Club, which aims to familiarize visitors with the reconstruction efforts in Karabakh and East Zangezur.

Over the past four years, the large delegations of the major international travel networks, such as ETIC, MTP, TCC, NomadMania and the Turkish Travel Club, as well as Turkish travellers club, British "Piki Reels", Swedish "Club 100" have visited Karabakh and East Zangezur 11 times, bringing over 400 travellers from more than 50 countries.

These trips are of great importance in terms of promoting Azerbaijani realities worldwide, allowing on-site familiarization with the massive destruction in the liberated territories and the ongoing large-scale reconstruction and renovation work in these lands.
