Tatyana Valovaya, Director General of the UN Office in Geneva, met with Anar Alakbarov, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, as part of her visit to our country.
Axar.az reports that at the meeting, ideas were exchanged between the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the UN on future cooperation, projects on the joint activities of the two institutions were discussed within the framework of COP29.
The 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change - COP29, which will be hosted by Azerbaijan this year, will bring successful results in terms of solving environmental problems in the world, this event will strengthen solidarity for the sake of a green, fair, inclusive and sustainable world for humanity, our planet expressed confidence that it will be the next step towards achieving positive results for the future.
Later, the guest got acquainted with the exhibitions displayed at the Heydar Aliyev Center.
