For the first time, Azerbaijani school students won a medal at Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) of the United States, APA reports.
Said Aslanov and Ibrahim Allahverdiyev, 10th grade students of Khazar University's World School, won a bronze medal in the "Biomedicine and Health Sciences" category at the competition held in California on May 11-17. In addition, Nijat Taghizadeh, a 10th grade student of the same school, and Khazar Huseynov, a 10th grade student of the educational complex No. 132-134, were awarded a special award in the "Robotics" category.
Note that the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) is the world's most prestigious science competition for students.
