Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said he is looking forward to resigning as president and spending more time among citizens.
Axar.az reports, citing Serbian media, that speaking about the upcoming elections, Vucic called on supporters of his “Aleksandar Vucic – United Serbia” list to campaign for a united Serbia that continues moving forward.
“It will be easier for me, with fewer obligations. And secondly, I am happiest when I am among our people," Vucic said.
"My obligation is to attend the Carpathian Initiative, my obligation is to go to New York, and now I will see everyone there, from European and world leaders and many American leaders. But I can hardly wait to return and, on Monday, September 28, when I resign, get into my car and go among my people,” he added.
