5.9-magnitude quake hits Solomon Islands

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 jolted the Solomon Islands at 1412 GMT on Saturday.

Axar.az reports, citing Xinhua, that the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said that the epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 4.79 degrees south latitude and 154.17 degrees east longitude.
