Heatwave persists nationwide, temps hit 40°C

According to information as of 10:00, hot weather conditions continued throughout the country.

Axar.az informs that the National Hydrometeorological Service reported this.

The maximum air temperature was recorded in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in the Aran regions, at 40 degrees, in the mountainous regions at 30 degrees, and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic at 41 degrees.
