Bayraktar TB2 successfully completes trials with new ANTIDOT-2U/S electronic warfare module

The Turkish-made Bayraktar TB2 drone has successfully completed testing with the new ANTIDOT-2U/S electronic warfare module, developed by ASELSAN said President of Defence Industry Agency Haluk Görgün on X.

Gerger highlighted the continuous efforts of Türkiye to enhance its independence across various sectors, Caliber.Az reports.

He described the system as a "game changer" on the battlefield, capable of instantly detecting radar signals and challenging traditional combat tactics by accurately pinpointing their direction and location.

"This significant achievement is the result of the determination of our people and the efforts of our engineers," Gerger remarked. "I wholeheartedly congratulate the companies, subcontractors, and the staff at our Directorate who contributed to the implementation of this project. We will continue to work tirelessly and lead Türkiye to a stronger future."

The ANTIDOT-2U/S electronic warfare system is designed to detect, identify, and track radar signals from air defence systems, providing crucial situational awareness for tactical UAVs. The module, weighing 30 kg and with a power output of 400 W, operates fully autonomously, transmitting data back to a ground control station via the drone’s communication line.
