An informal summit of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will be held on New Year's Eve.
Axar.az reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin made a statement about this.
"Soon, the informal summit of the CIS, which is already traditional, will be held," he said.
It should be noted that earlier the General Secretary of the Union Sergey Lebedev said that the traditional informal meeting of CIS heads of state will take place in Astana at the end of December.
