Azerbaijan is set to host the Snow Polo World Cup for the first time on February 19–21, 2027, in Shahdag.
Axar.az reports that over three days, teams from four countries will vie for the trophy. Switzerland’s Evviva Polo Club St. Moritz, Austria’s “Kitzbuhel” and the United States’ “Aspen” clubs will compete alongside Azerbaijan’s “Land of Fire” team.
The competition will highlight speed, precision, and teamwork, with powerful horses, skillful play, and fast-paced action on the snow set against Shahdag’s winter scenery.
