Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump held a detailed phone conversation on July 3 regarding the situation surrounding Iran and the broader Middle East, Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov said at a briefing.
He stated that the Russian side stressed the importance of resolving disputed issues, disagreements, and conflicts exclusively through political and diplomatic channels, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
The call between the two leaders lasted approximately one hour.
The presidential aide also confirmed that the presidents agreed to maintain ongoing communication, with either leader able to initiate contact as needed.
Ushakov added that their aides would facilitate any future phone conversations throughout the day.
