The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan has expressed his condolences to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian.

“Dear Mr. President.
We are extremely saddened by the news of the loss of life and numerous injuries as a result of the explosion at the Shahid Rajai port in the city of Bandar Abbas.
In connection with this tragedy, I personally and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, express my deepest condolences to you, the families and relatives of the deceased, and to the entire Iranian people, and wish recovery to those injured.
