Minister: Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan ties flourish on historic foundations

Azerbaijani Culture Minister Adil Karimli has said that the growing bond between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan is founded on shared historical roots.

Karimli made these remarks at the opening ceremony of Azerbaijani Culture Days in Kyrgyzstan. The event took place at the National Philharmonic of Kyrgyzstan, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

In his address, Karimli underscored the crucial role played by the strong relationship between the presidents of both nations in enhancing the sociocultural ties between the two peoples. He pointed out that this collaboration is increasingly reflected in the ongoing cultural exchanges that have flourished over the past years.

Karimli particularly highlighted the importance of reciprocal visits by creative groups, noting, “Such artistic exchanges, along with cultural days, contribute to a closer acquaintance and deeper understanding between our peoples.” These exchanges, he stressed, serve as a bridge for better mutual understanding and appreciation.
