The European Union has a strong plan to respond to the tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump.
Axar.az reports that these words were said by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
Speaking in the European Parliament, Leyen said that the next sectors to be subject to tariffs will be semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and wood.
She said that Europeans are completely disappointed by the US statements:
"Europe did not start this confrontation. We do not necessarily want to take retaliatory measures, but if we have to, we have a strong response plan and we will use it."
It should be noted that the US announced that it would impose import duties on cars from April 3. Similar tariffs were imposed on aluminum and steel in March.
