A visiting Georgian parliamentary delegation led by Nino Tsilosani, Deputy Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia, visited the Alley of Honors and the Alley of Martyrs in Baku on Thursday.
The delegation first paid tribute to Heydar Aliyev, National Leader of the Azerbaijani people and architect and founder of the independent Azerbaijani state, by laying flowers at his grave in the Alley of Honors.
Subsequently, they visited the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate the heroic Azerbaijani sons and daughters who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence and territorial integrity, placing flowers at their graves.
The Georgian delegation also visited the Eternal Flame monument.
