Six people were injured after a vehicle struck pedestrians at the Festival Western de Saint-Tite in Quebec, Canada, early Saturday.
Axar.az reports, citing CBC News, that the incident occurred on Saint-Joseph Boulevard in Saint-Tite. The vehicle fled the scene but was later found in the Quebec City region.
A man in his 20s was arrested and is being questioned by police. The victims were taken to hospital with various injuries, none of which were life-threatening.
Quebec's Domestic Security Minister Ian Lafreniere said there was no reason to believe the incident was terrorism-related. He said an argument between several people had escalated into violence.
Festival organizers said Saturday's activities would continue as planned, while Saint-Joseph Boulevard was closed to traffic as investigators examined the scene.
